Gin and Tonic
Born out of necessity and perfected by happy hour, the Gin and Tonic began as a British colonial hack to make quinine (a malaria treatment) palatable — and ended up becoming one of the most refreshing, iconic highballs of all time. Crisp, clean, and endlessly customizable, it’s the cocktail equivalent of a linen shirt: light, stylish, and best worn in the sun.
