Ramos Gin Fizz

The Ramos Gin Fizz is part cocktail, part culinary event. Created in 1888 by Henry C. Ramos in New Orleans, this legendary drink is a frothy, floral, citrusy masterpiece made with gin, lemon juice, lime juice, simple syrup, egg white, heavy cream, orange flower water, and soda water. Shaken so long it once required a relay of bartenders, the result is light, silky, and meringue-topped, with a texture that’s downright dreamy. It’s a brunch showstopper and a true test of bartender patience.
